About Paul Messenger

Paul Messenger focuses his practice on business and tax law. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Missouri. Paul holds a J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he earned certifications in Tax Law and Business Law. During his time at Memphis Law, he was recognized with the CALI Award for Excellence in Corporate Law and served as chapter president of the American Constitution Society. Additionally, Paul holds a Master of Science in Information Systems with a concentration in Business Intelligence and Analytics, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from Middle Tennessee State University.
Paul’s legal experience includes serving as a judicial extern for Judge M. Ruthie Hagan of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee and advising commercial real estate clients. Before entering the legal field, he worked as a data engineer at Community Health Systems, a Fortune 500 healthcare company based in Franklin, TN.
A dedicated professional, Paul is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and its Tax Law Section. His diverse background in law, finance, and technology allows him to deliver strategic legal solutions tailored to his clients’ needs.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, who is a urologist serving the Middle Tennessee region.
